The BDSM Checklist
Introduction
The BDSM Play Partner Checklist is a convenient way of finding out where someone's interests lie. Just because someone's a Dom/me, it doesn't mean that every sub is perfect for them, or vice-versa. The checklist allows you to let people know both whether or not you've participated in a given activity before and also how you feel about it. It's a great way of getting a basic feel for where someone's limits and squicks lie, though - of course - it's no substitute for taking a lot of time to discover a partner's limits gently and safely and shouldn't be used as such. This checklist has been created, modified and all of those other good things for Soul's Haven. The source of the original list is semi-lost to history, though many copys can be found floating around in the public domain. As this version's held entirely within Soul's Haven, if you have any other fields you would like to see added, email us and we may add them.
The Sections
The original checklist was simply that - a plain checklist. Other websites, most notably Castle Realm, began to expand it, making the list a web form that you could email to a partner. We wanted to take it a step further still...
The Questions
This page contains the checklist itself. You can fill it in and email it to whoever you wish. You can also opt to have the system store it - so you'll never lose your answers and so you can refer others to it. There is also the option to make it public allowing other people to find it and view your answers.
Twenty Questions
Some people find the full checklist somewhat daunting. This is a much briefer 20 questions list. It is not as detailed but it lets you give a quick feeling.
Answers
Once you've filled in the questions you'll be taken here automatically. If you've stored your answers, you'll be given an ID. With an ID you can come back to this page and view the answers for that ID at any point. You can also give that ID to others you'd like to see your answers and they too can come here to view them.
Compare
It may be that you've filled in two different checklists at different times and want to see how your answers have changed, or it may be that a Dom/me and a sub want to see how similar they are. This page lets you use two IDs and compare them both.
