Additions and Revisions
It can sometimes be hard to tell what's new, what's revised and what you've already been to. This page should help you keep track of what's changed since your last visit.
Older pages of additions and revisions will be archived off every few months, to keep this list managable.

Risking Death
There are a group of high-risk activities within the scene that carry with them a risk of death for the submissive. Whether this is an acceptable form of play or not is one of the hotly debated areas of the scene. This piece looks at the arguments for and a compelling argument against.

Today's theme seems to be prejudice. It amazes me that people, within a minority that are so prejudiced against, manage to still hold on to so much prejudice against other members of that minority.
General/Your Kink Is OK
There are a huge number of kinks that fall within the bounds of BDSM. Not all of them are to our personal tastes and some may even disgust us. Does that make them wrong? In a world where we seek acceptance for our own kinks, is it reasonable not to accept those of others?
General/In Defense Of Gor
Gor is a 'form' of BDSM based on a series of fantasy novels. There are a large number of positives to be drawn from the series, such as a defined culture, recognised poses, forms of address, etiquette, behavior and so on. The problem comes that there are aspects of the Gorean fantasy that are [mis]used by abusive people as a justification of their actions.
Particularly within the on-line community, Gor has gained a reputation as being abusive. As a result, many people have become extremely intolerant of Gor and any who practice it. This article is intended to address many of the misconceptions and explain why Gor itself is not wrong, it is the people who abuse it that are.

General/Slave Contracts And The Law
Slave contracts are many things to many people and often assumed to be some legalised form of consent that makes everything OK in they eyes of the law. They are not. This article looks at why they are not along with what they are.
General
Continuing the changes of putting overviews of all subsections, the General section now contains an overview of everything contained within it.
23 July
The reason nothing new has been added for a while is that we've been working on getting a whole load of content together to put up in one go. As it is all finished, we've just put it up. We hope it was worth the wait.
Interface Changes
There have been three main changes to the way the site works:
If you look in the menu area to the left, you will see we have added a search box. You can use it to search for anything you are interested in, on the site, using Google.
You should also notice a new icon that looks like a window. Clicking on it will make all of the pages fit the complete width of the browser rather than just fitting the width of the header bar. This should hopefully suit those of you who use high resolution screens. If you click on it again, it will take you back to the standard style.
In the BDSM Checklist, all of the titles in the checklist now work as links. Click on any of them and it will pop up a new window with the dictionary in it so you can look up what the kink means. This should also help cut down on the number of 'unknowns' in the checklist.
Toy Box/How To Make...
BDSM gear is expensive. Making it turns out to be relatively cheap and also teaches you a lot more about the toys you are using. We'll be filling this section with step by step guides to making all of the toys we have made and used.
Toy Box/How To Make.../Making A Bondage Board
For those who want to take bondage a little further than binding wrists and ankles, a bondage board lets you secure every last part of the body while still leaving access for all the fun things.
Toy Box/How To Make.../Making A Set Of Stocks
A set of well made stocks has potential from everything from bondage to humiliation play. Besides, what well equiped dungeon would be without them?
Dom/mes Haven/Telling Someone They Are Not A Sub
Addressing the misconception that it is ever OK to tell someone they are not a sub.
Note: This is also addressed, from a sub's perspective, in Sub's Haven and may well be worth reading too.
Dom/mes Haven/You Can Be Wrong
A Dom/me is supposed to be this wonderful, infalable creature, in complete control, never letting anything bad happen, nor making mistakes.
OK, enough of the unrealistic fantasy. No matter how much of a Dom/me we are, we are humans first, Dom/mes second. The unfortunate reality is that humans do make mistakes. So, how should we deal with them?
Sub's Haven/Shaving
The intent of this article is to share as much advice on shaving as possible in a general, tutorial kind of fashion.
Sub's Haven/"You're Not A Proper Sub!"
Some Dom/mes - some subs too - seem to believe they have the right to tell you, "You're not a proper sub!" This piece looks at the practice, the validity of doing so and offers hope for those who others have tried it with.
Note: There is a piece, from a Dom's perspective, in Dom/me's Haven that may well be worth reading too.
