What I am is real. Yes, I am a real person. Yes, I'm the person walking by on the sidewalk. I'm the person buying groceries behind you. I'm the person sitting next to you on the tube. I'm the person smiling over flowers and talking to plants. I am the person you look beyond and don't notice, because I'm just one of many people around you that you don't personally know.

I am all these things, and I am other things. I'm the person wearing my Master's collar everywhere, every day. I'm the person who knows that it is my place to be nude when I am in our home. I'm the person who kneels at my Master's feet to put on and take off his boots. I'm the person who loves to get a little swat on my backside, and even quite a few hard swats with different leather toys. I'm the person whose joy in life is to make my Master happy, comfortable, and content.

Master and I were originally friends, and had been so for several years. I began asking him about the bdsm scene, as I knew nothing about it, and he--liking to teach as he does--began to show me bits and pieces. I embraced the lifetyle, recognizing in it the parts of myself that I had denied and the missing pieces I had been looking for in other relationships. Eventually we reached a point where I asked to be allowed to submit to him, and he accepted my submission and I his dominance. Our relationship took shape as we hammered out the details, and a little bit of curiosity led me to being a lifestyle submissive, devoted to, living with, and loving my Master. In this lifestyle I feel that I am truly myself, with all the beauty of my true self--my inner kitten--being nurtured, supported, and protected by my beloved Master.

I do not claim to know all the answers, or even half of the answers. All I know is the reality of my lifestyle and of our life together. We live as a full-time Dominant and a full-time submissive, and we rarely step out of our chosen and negotiated roles. If my stories and my thoughts can help someone else in discovering their own inner kitten I will gladly offer them. I hope to create a place where one can be what they truly are, without having to hide pieces of themselves in confusion or in shame. Whatever you are, be what you are. It was a hard lesson to learn and a long time in coming, but now that I am truly my kittenish self I am more happy and content than I have every dreamed of being. This is my fairytale.
