Why Piercing?
Everyone has their own reasons for getting pierced. For me (SoulThief) it was first about recognising the scene with something permanent, about taking pride in who I am, perhaps a degree of "rite of passage". For kitten it was about reclaiming and finding beauty in her body after a massive car accident. For others it's fashion; style; overcoming pain; taking control of their body; a badge of identity and many other reasons. My only advice would be: Find a reason to get pierced for yourself - having that reason and taking pride in it will save it from becoming something you regret.

This area contains some of the things we've learned along the way, regarding piercing. We're both [multiply] pierced but are by no means experts.
